He Will Do It Again!

Tye Tribbett's song says, "If He did it before, He'll do it again; Same God Right Now; Same God back then; I won't give in, NO I'm not going to turn around; I KNOW I'll WIN, if I don't give up now; I am waiting for my change to come in; He will come through and this is how I'm sure, because if He did it before, He Will do it again; Same God Right Now- Same God back then."

The Bible gives us many references of how God led his people out of danger, trials and tribulations. 2 Corinthians 1:10, "He has delivered us from such a deadly peril, and He will deliver us again; On Him we have set our hope that He will continue to deliver us." Hebrews 13:8 reminds us "Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever." He will never leave you or forsake you. Hold fast to the Lord your God as you have done to this day (Joshua 23:8).

It's easy to fall into a trap of believing "this will never end", "how did I get here", "why is nothing working out for me". If you can just recall for a moment, a time in your life when everything felt hopeless and/or out of your control and then SUDDENLY, everything turned around. The check finally came in the mail; the job offer or promotion finally came through; the child finally 'got the message' or learned the lesson you were trying to teach him/her; your spouse finally listened and actually heard what you were trying to say; the loan was finally approved; the essay/paper/report was finally submitted (at the last minute) but right in the knick of time; the doctor's report finally gave some good news........ what a relief you felt when your SUDDENLY moment FINALLY occurred. However, while you were going through, it was hard. Your Faith and Hope were weakened. You knew God was there and you trusted He loved you and you knew He wanted what was best for you, but you just didn't understand what is going on in this moment.

Don't worry. When you see despair, God sees opportunity. When you see failure, God sees growth. When you don't understand, God already knows the end of the story. Just hang in there. You are almost there. You may not know how or when, but I promise you, He will do it again! Look for the signs. Remember He has brought you through before and He will do it again. Thank God for the indications received that you are almost there. Pray, Ask God to help you make a plan. Start working your faith and working your plan. Accept the challenge and claim the victory. Faith and Works go together. Pray and then get to work! Work that plan.

Forget what is behind you. Remember what He has done in the past, but don't dwell on the past. Stop letting the 'bad stuff' get in your head - the lies, ridicule, games people play. Stop getting burned by the same things and the same people over and over again. Move forward in confidence. Be faithful and in due season, it will be your time. God has not forgotten you. Sow your seeds, water the process, and wait for your harvest.

Martha Munizzi and Isreal Houston sang it best " It's a New Season, It's a New Day; A fresh anointing is flowing my way; It's a Season of Power and Prosperity; It's a New Season Coming to Me. Your Debts are Cancelled and Your children are walking in Jubilee; All that was stolen, is returned to you a hundred fold; Tried in the fire, but you're coming out gold; Cling to God's hand, to every promise take hold; It's a new Season coming to me."

You know the saying: "You're either just Coming out of something, Going through something, or Something is on it's way". That's the reality of those in the body of Christ. That's why Jesus said in John 16:33, "I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world." He did it before- He will do it again.
