We serve a PROGRESSIVE God, a God that MOVES. As we are made in His likeness, so should we. We should MOVE and GROW. We should NOT be the same as we were last decade, last year, or even yesterday.
For many years, God has been speaking many things into my heart. As He said them to me, I knew that they would come to pass, but I kept thinking that it would be "someday" (procrastination), or I would let fear or discouragement step in, and not step out and do what I know He wanted me to do. Well, especially with the recent death of so many, God has impressed on me that "SOMEDAY IS TODAY!" Who are we to be PRIDEFUL in thinking that we know what the future holds, or have all this time on our hands to do anything "someday"--we are NOT God, He is! And, in terms of fear, who and what was I fearing? Did I REALLY believe that God was as big as I said He was? Did I REALLY believe that I could do ALL THINGS THROUGH HIM, and that I am an OVERCOMER IN HIM? Did I REALLY believe that He is stronger than ANY obstacle that I would face? Well, if I did, then I had to PUT ACTION TO MY BELIEF (Faith), step into the great unknown, take God at His Word, and TRUST HIM. I like the example that a friend of mine told me about. In the film "Raiders of the Lost Ark," only as Harrison Ford TOOK A STEP, did the path he was looking for appear,ONE STEP AT A TIME. So it is with us; as we keep stepping, ONE AT A TIME, the Lord will continue to illuminate our paths and move us toward our expected end. (Jeremiah 29:11)
So, here's another step on my path--the creation of the "All Things Encouraging Enterprise" website, encompassing the ministries of: His Hands Extended Online, Destiny Dreams, and Prayer, Praise, and Dreams, LLC. I can tell you that THE BEST IS YET TO COME, and that I truly look forward to ALL that the Lord chooses to do in and through each of these ministries. He truly is a WONDER IN MY SOUL!
I encourage each of you today to COME ALONG THE JOURNEY WITH ME. Let's TAKE OUR STEPS TOGETHER, BUILD GOD'S KINGDOM, and SHOW GOD'S LIGHT TO A WORLD THAT NEEDS IT!
