God’s Got It!

Romans 8:28: And we know that IN ALL THINGS, God WORKS FOR THE GOOD of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose.
God’s God It! Got what, you may ask? He’s GOT IT ALL IN CONTROL. EVERYTHING! The GOOD, the BAD, AND the UGLY. You’ve no doubt heard the song, “He’s got the whole world in His hands?” Well, God is the “He,” and the world, that is “we.” GOD IS SOVEREIGN. I like to rearrange the letters of that word just a bit to put it this way--He “REIGNS OVER” ALL! Not just the “good things” in life, but even over what we may consider the “bad.” What is awesome is that, with God, THERE REALLY IS NO BAD! As it says in today’s Scripture, He works ALL things together for the GOOD. So, even at those times when it SEEMS that ALL IS OUT OF CONTROL, and when we can’t make sense of ANYTHING that is going on in our lives--GOD KNOWS and is CONTROLLING IT ALL. What happens to us, although surprising to US, is NEVER a surprise to HIM. He has seen EACH of our circumstances from BEGINNING TO END, and EVERYTHING IN BETWEEN. What an AWESOME GOD to be able to not only SEE ALL (being omniscient) but Who is WISE ENOUGH and POWERFUL ENOUGH (being omnipotent) to coordinate it all so that ALL things work out JUST AS THEY SHOULD FOR EACH OF US. And WHY does He do this? Because WE LOVE HIM, and because HE HAS A PURPOSE FOR EACH OF US.
This gives me MUCH SOLACE when I go through those CRAZY TIMES in my life when all SEEMS to be going HAYWIRE. If I can just SLOW DOWN for a little while, STOP TO REMEMBER, and THANK GOD that what I cannot PRESENTLY see and know, HE DOES, and that HE WILL WORK IT OUT FOR MY GOOD--that makes all the difference in the world! That knowledge gives me the STRENGTH to “keep on keeping on,” with a HOPEFUL EXPECTANCY that I WILL see GOOD come out of the chaos! I WILL see the GOODNESS of the Lord IN THE LAND OF THE LIVING.
So, BE ENCOURAGED today! What you are CURRENTLY going through…GOD’S GOT IT, and He WILL make it WORK FOR YOUR GOOD! Just continue to LOVE HIM and WATCH HIM WORK HIS PURPOSE in your life. Remember, His purpose is for you to have LIFE and LIFE MORE ABUNDANTLY (John 10:10). He plans to PROSPER YOU and to give you a HOPE and a FUTURE (Jeremiah 29:11). He wants you to enjoy GOOD HEALTH, and that ALL MAY GO WELL WITH YOU (3 John 2). Your circumstances will ALL work together FOR YOUR GOOD!
